* We request that players attending practices and Highland Games wear full uniforms as it makes it much easier to have two teams and really helps us with photos. In addition to shinguards and cups, our uniform includes black socks, black shorts (or sweats), and an NCCC shirt (for shirts contact Michael). Any further clarifications can be obtained from Elheran.

DIRECTIONS TO OUR SANTA CLARA PRIMARY & SECONDARY PRACTICE SITES:
SANTA CLARA CENTRAL PARK
969 Kiely Blvd, Santa Clara, 95051-5002

From East Bay:
Take 680 or 880 south to 280; head towards SF on 280. Just N/W of 280/880/17 junction, exit on Saratoga, turn right at the end of the ramp, work your way to left lane, and turn left onto Kiely at the second light (1.5 blocks). Come north on Kiely about 1 mile, cross over Homestead, the next right turn should be Benton Street, turn right onto Benton, follow Benton to White St, turn right. White Street will eventually run along the park on your right. Look for the Baseball Back stops and park. Note this is between the Swimming Pool and the Tennis Courts and if you pass the George Haines Swim Center you have gone too far, also if we are not there, look for a note posted along the fence or go directly to the secondary practice site which is the field north of the Community Center, which is off of Keily Blvd between Benton St and Homestead Road. Go back out to Benton St and turn Left, go to Kiely and turn left, the Center will be on your left.
Alternate route from 880 is to take the Montague Expressway off of 880, stay on it ill turns into San Tomas Expressway and then follow the directions for San Tomas Expressway from the 101 directions below.

From West Bay:
From 280
Take 280 south, take Saratoga exit, come across 280 on the overpass, and follow the directions above.

From 101:
Take 101 south, to Great America Parkway, head south, it will turn into Bowers, which will turn into Kiely at El Camino. The next stoplight is Benton; turn left onto Benton, follow Benton to White St, turn right. White Street will eventually run along the park on your right. Look for the Baseball Back stops and park. Note this is between the Swimming Pool and the Tennis Courts and if you pass the George Haines Swim Center you have gone too far, also if we are not there, look for a note posted along the fence or go directly to the secondary practice site which is the field north of the Community Center, which is off of Keily Blvd between Benton St and Homestead Road. From the Santa Clara practice site:
Turn right on Homestead Rd travel (2.1 miles). Turn Left on N Wolfe Road travel (.4 miles). The Pub & Restaurant will be on the right hand side of the road next to the Cupertino Village Shopping Center.

From Highway 101/880:
West on 92 (crossing the San Mateo bridge if you're coming from 880) to Delaware/Fairgrounds exit. Right onto Delaware heading south. Left onto Bermuda. Drive past school (Fiesta something) and road curves to the right. Soccer field is on the left with a small off street parking lot also on the left.

From Highway 280:
East on 92 to Delaware/Fairgrounds exit. Right onto Delaware heading south. Left onto Bermuda. Drive past school (Fiesta something) and road curves to the right. Soccer field is on the left with a small off street parking lot also on the left.




DIRECTIONS TO A SECONDARY SAN MATEO PRACTICE SITE:
HILLSDALE HIGH SCHOOL
3115 Del Monte St, San Mateo, CA 94403

From Highway 101:
Take Hillsdale Blvd. exit toward Foster City and the Hillsdale Blvd. West ramp towards San Mateo. Stay straight to go onto FRANKLIN PKWY. Turn LEFT onto SARATOGA DR., then turn RIGHT onto E HILLSDALE BLVD. Turn RIGHT onto DEL MONTE ST. and pull into parking lot. If you are facing the school go down the drive way to the right of the building. If gate is closed park in top lot and walk down road to turf field. If you don't see us on the turf field look on the other fields below.




DIRECTIONS TO BERKELEY PRACTICE SITES:
Derby Field, Berkeley, CA

The Derby Field is a full-block of grass field located in Berkeley at the corner of Derby and Martin Luther King Jr. Way (the field is bounded by Carleton on the north, MLK on the west, Milvia on the east and Derby on the south). It is easily accessible from the highway and there is usually adequate parking alongside the park. The entrance is at the corner of Carleton and Milvia through a gate. Google Map

Directions:
If you are coming from the North, the best way is via 101 South, taking the San Antonio exit. Turn Right on E Charleston Road, and then Right on Middlefield Road. At the first stoplight, Mayview Avenue, turn Left into Mitchell Park. 

If you are coming from the North, the best way is via 101 North, taking the San Antonio exit. Turn Right on E Charleston Road, and then Right on Middlefield Road. At the first stoplight, Mayview Avenue, turn Left into Mitchell Park.

When you get into the park:
Go past the big building on the right, follow the road along the right turn and turn into the first parking lot on your left. It's a big park, so I'm not certain where we'll set up, but the main fields are located on the far side of the park about 50 yards from the parking lot, past the baseball field.

Directions:
When you arrive at the address above you should be immediately adjacent to the fields. For those coming via 101 take the San Antonio exit and from 280 take the El Monte exit.




DIRECTIONS TO OUR SAN CARLOS PRACTICE SITE:
ARGUELLO PARK
Wellington Dr & Phelps Rd, San Carlos 94070

From Highway 101:
Exit at Holly, go west to El Camino, turn left for one block, turn right on San Carlos Ave. Go about one mile, then turn right at Wellington (therešs a light there). As you go up Wellington you will be aware that there is a big park below you on the right. About 1/3 mile up on Wellington, youšll see a narrow driveway down to the right. Take that and park.

NORTHWEST COMMUNITY CENTER
2536 Marlow Rd, Santa Rosa, 95403

From Highway 101:
Take hwy 101 to Guerneville Rd, in Santa Rosa. Head west from the freeway to Marlow Rd. Turn north (right) on Marlow Rd. A few blocks up (2/10 mile) on your right at stoplight is the entrance to the park. There is a sign. If you come to Piner Rd, you went too far. When you enter the park, there is a daycare building at the east end of the parking lot. Park, head past the building, and out onto the fields. We will play on the soccer fields, if available; if not, then we will be on the apron field to the north of the soccer fields. If they are full, we will be on the outfield of the baseball field complex, just to the NE of the soccer fields.

From Sebastopol:
Take hwy 12 to Stony Point and turn north, or take Guerneville Rd to Marlow and turn north. Stony Point becomes Marlow. Once you are north of Guerneville Rd, follow the directions as for "From Highway 101."

The Campbell Community Center is located very near the Hamilton Ave. exit from Highway 17. Exit 17 and head west on Hamilton (which is becoming West Hamilton at this point) approx. 4 blocks to S. Winchester Blvd. Go left (south) on S. Winchester approx. 4 blocks to Campbell Ave. The Community Center is located on the north-west corner of the intersection. Parking onsite (if you're there early) or in nearby lots on Winchester.

FROM SOUTH BAY: Take I-280 north to the Woodside Road exit. Merge on CA-84 (Woodside Road) heading east towards Woodside/Redwood City to Churchill Ave. Take a right on Churchill Ave., field will be on your left, parking ahead and to the left.

FROM NORTH BAY: Take I-280 south to the Woodside Road exit. Merge on CA-84 (Woodside Road) heading east towards Woodside/Redwood City to Churchill Ave. Take a right on Churchill Ave., field will be on your left, parking ahead and to the left.

From San Francisco:
Cross the Bay Bridge and continue to 580 East towards Hayward. Exit at 106th Ave./Foothill Blvd. Make three left turns at the three stop signs. Drive under freeway and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Dr. Follow signs to Dunsmuir.

From Marin County Area:
Cross the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge and continue to 80 West towards Oakland. Take 580 East towards Hayward. Exit at 106th Ave./Foothill Blvd. Make three left turns at the three stop signs. Drive under freeway and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Dr. Follow signs to Dunsmuir.

From the Walnut Creek Area:
Take 24 West through the Caldecot Tunnel. Take 13 South towards Hayward. Continue to the junction of 580. Take 580 East towards Hayward. Exit at 106th Ave./Foothill Blvd. Make three left turns at the three stop signs. Drive under freeway and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Dr. Follow signs to Dunsmuir.

From the Livermore/Pleasanton & Hayward/Castro Valley Area:
Take 580 West towards Oakland. Exit Foothill/MacArthur Blvd. Move into the right lane as you drive under the freeway and continue right onto Foothill Blvd. Make a right turn at the next stop sign onto 106th Ave. Drive under freeway and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Dr. Follow signs to Dunsmuir.

From San Jose & the South Bay:
Take 880 North to 238 East towards Castro Valley/Oakland. Take 580 West towards Oakland. Exit Foothill/MacArthur Blvd. Move into the right lane as you drive under the freeway and continue right onto Foothill Blvd. Make a right turn at the next stop sign onto 106th Ave. Drive under freeway and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Dr. Follow signs to Dunsmuir.

*The SHINTY tent will be located next to the Heavy Athletics area, which is called the Big Meadow, with your back to the main mansion, the Big Meadow will be to your left at about 35 degrees.

FROM THE BAY AREA:
The access to Poplar Beach is off of Highway 1 just south of the Highway 92 intersection and can be accessed via 92 or Highway 1 from north or south. From Highway 1 turn west on Poplar Avenue and follow the road through the neighbourhood all the way to the end and the beach parking lot. Park and walk down to beach via path at north end of lot (watch out, it might be muddy, but it's at least short). Turn left when you get to the beach and walk south until you find us (probably about 1/2 mile or so). This beach has lots of room, though the playing area won't be too wide
