The Campbell Games has been one of our favourite events for the last few years, and has provided a fantastic venue for us to host Gary Innes, Scottish shinty and box (accordion) player extraordinaire! We played three matches during the course of the day, a full gallery of action photos can be found here.

Gary spent the morning playing music and then slid on over to the field athletics venue (shared between rugby and shinty) to referee the Trough of Excellence Cup Match. It was tightly contested match, but the Bayside forwards could not get their shots into the goal and the Benside team won the day 3-1. For the final match of the day Gary donned a jersey and proceeded to give us all a good workout, especially the keepers. Gary played one half for the Golden Boys and the second half for the Bluehoopers. Aside from a chronic off-side problem (HA!) the game progressed well and ended in a 4-3 victory for the Golden Boys! At the end of the afternoon beer was enjoyed by everyone, and perhaps a dram or two as well.

During the course of the Games we saw the multiple identities of a few of our members... always interesting to find out this info!
Above: Joshua doubles as a Highland Dance competitor, and Nancy as a... um... judge? Below: These two photos were consecutive shots on the roll... is there something you want to tell us Bruce?
